SPARK Senior Centers are designed to meet the wholistic needs of aging adults across Montgomery County by providing access to a full range of Services, Programs, Activities, Resources, and Knowledge building opportunities for Seniors in our area, helping Seniors to live Vibrant, Purposeful, and Independent lives at any age.

The Board of Directors of Greater Harleysville and North Penn Senior Services (GHNPSS) is excited to announce that Elizabeth Beil will become the new Executive Director effective September 6, 2022. GHNPSS’ board partnered with Liz Vibber from Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management to assist with the search. Paul Nye, the current Interim Executive Director will end his role with GHNPSS on Friday, September 2.
Beil, who resides in Oreland, PA, brings with her an impressive background of over 15 years in non-profit management and leadership experience. She is mission-focused with extensive knowledge in fundraising, community relations, diverse environments, program development and relationship building. Most recently she served as President and CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation Eastern PA and Director of Fund Development for Better Tomorrows, a nonprofit providing supportive services in affordable housing communities across the country. Beil holds a B.A. in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College with a semester abroad at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She spent 10 years in Guatemala as a bilingual advocate and community development liaison for non-profits in that region including 2 years in the Peace Corps. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
In addition to her leadership qualities, Elizabeth volunteers with Artman Home, KenCrest, For Pete's Sake, and Jenkintown Food Pantry. She loves spending time with her family, is a workout enthusiast, book lover, and enjoys cooking.
Beil shared that “I am very excited and am looking forward to joining GHNPSS as their next Executive Director. It is an honor to join this community and lead the organization in its next phase of development in service of the seniors of Harleysville and North Penn.”

Kate Moore, Board President commented, “We are excited to welcome Elizabeth Beil to GHNPSS to lead us in our mission to provide access to programs and resources that help older adults live independently and remain active. Elizabeth will oversee strategic planning. fundraising and programs so we can best serve our current members as well as welcome new participants to our centers – Encore Experiences in Harleysville and The PEAK Center in Lansdale. Her experience and leadership skills will guide us into the future as we partner with Montgomery County Health and Human Services, regional nonprofits, community, and business leaders and all our supporters to keep our organization strong and growing.”
