Encore Experiences offers ra variety of fitness and wellness-based programs to promote positive aging. Some classes have a fee which can be paid per class or you can purchase a coupon sheet at a discount of 10 classes for the price of 9.
Tai Chi • Mondays and Wednesdays • 9:15 am • Mark Cashatt • $5
Incorporate breath and movement in this gentle whole-body practice. Come as you are, with a positive energy, and leave relaxed and refreshed. This class is suitable for everyone as you work within your personal physical limitations (sitting, standing, or whatever is comfortable for you). This low impact class will increase your strength, balance, and mental well-being.
Haircuts with Robin • 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month • 9 am to 10:20 am • $10

Walking with Weights • Tuesdays • 9:15 am • Paula Klauger • $4
Work on your strength, balance, and stretching in this all-levels fitness class.Light weights will be used, along with a chair for balance if needed.
Zumba • Tuesdays • 1:30 pm • Lysandra Sanchez Gurung • $4
Inspired by Latin Dance, this energetic exercise class will get your feet moving and your face smiling. All fitness levels are welcome, and we can help you adapt as needed.
Tone and Balance • Thursdays • 1:30 pm • Lysandra Sanchesz Gurung • $4
Come move and groove with us in this fun full body workout. Engage your brain and your body with exercises that will raise your heart rate and help you work on your coordination. Light weights and resistance bands may be used (provided), with chairs used to help with stability. Work at your own level!
Stretch and Tone • Fridays • 1:30 pm • Jane Evans • $4
This adaptable, all levels fitness class will focus on increasing your flexibility and help with building overall strength. All equipment is provided, just bring yourself and a water bottle. Dress in comfortable clothing.
Help Yourself to Healthy Living • 1st Thursday of the month • 11 am
Each month, community health educators from Jefferson Health will discuss important health topics to promote positive aging. Topics include such things as "Balance and Fall Prevention", "Protecting your Mental Health", "Healthy Eating for Strong Cardiovascular Health" and more. Free Blood Pressure checks are available before each presentation from 9:30 to 10:45 am.
