About the Honoree: Francis Jeyaraj, M.D.

Greater Harleysville and North Penn Senior Services (GHNPSS) is pleased to celebrate Dr. Francis Jeyaraj as the 2023 Pillar of the Community. The event will be held at Indian Valley Country Club on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.

Dr. Jeyaraj is being honored as the GHNPSS 2023 Pillar of the Community for the incredible impact he has made as a local Pediatrician as well as his dedication to building the greater North Penn community with a special focus on diversity and inclusion. It was a circuitous route that brought Dr. Jeyaraj from Malaysia to Pennsylvania but the moment he joined Lansdale Pediatric & Adolescent Medical Associates, the greater North Penn region gained a true partner. He served as a pediatrician in our local community for over 40 years, retiring in 2019.

Dr. Jeyaraj specialized in neonatal care and is praised for his kind bed-side manner when dealing with children of all ages and their families. In addition to his passion for the practice of medicine, Dr. Jeyaraj has volunteered extensively with a focus on connecting diverse communities and mentoring changemakers. At both Encore Experiences and the PEAK Center, he is well known to our Seniors with many having taken their children to him for pediatric care and others celebrating his work with organizations that include the International Spring Festival, Pearl S. Buck Foundation, United Way, and the Montgomery County Health Department.
