Q. Is membership required to participate in programs or events at Encore Experiences?
No, participation in programs is open to the entire community, regardless of paid membership status.
Basic Membership: $25 individual, $35 per couple

Supporting Membership: $35 individual, $50 couple, includes all basic membership PLUS:

- Discount coupons for local business/vendor partners

Become a Lifelong Member for a onetime fee of $250 for individuals and $450 per couple. You will receive all of the basic and supporting benefits, PLUS- tickets to the Pillar Annual Gala event (valued at $110 per ticket), VIP trip, and your name on a donor recognition plaque!
Q. What is your participation policy?
Programs and activities are specifically designed to benefit those in our community aged 55 or older, or disabled of any age. For a full copy of our Participation Eligibility Policy, click here.
Q. Do you publish a newsletter and how much does it cost?
Newsletter are available to all members, non-members and participants this is all at no cost. We like to share all the wonderful programming and services with older adults who regularly attend as well as the community.
Q. Will I need to complete any forms before participating in programs or events at Encore Experiences?
It is our policy to request that each attendee completes a Participant Registration Form. This helps us apply for additional funding and gives us vital information in case of incident/emergency. If you've never been here before, you can save time by clicking here to complete the Participant Registration Form ahead of time. Feel free to complete it and send it in via mail, email or in person. We would love to give you a tour! Once we have this information you will receive a swipe card that fits on your key chain. You must use this swipe card to register your attendance (check in) on the My-Senior-Center computer each time you are at Encore Experiences.
Q. Do you serve lunch or offer take-out meals in your cafe?
*Eligible persons, aged 60 and above or disabled, (or the spouse of an eligible person), are requested to make an anonymous voluntary contribution of $2.00 for the daily special. These funds are returned to Montgomery County Aging and Adult Services for redistribution to support nutrition programs throughout Montgomery County. We are able to provide this program with support of: Montgomery County Aging and Adult Services, United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, The Connelly Foundation, W.W. Smith Charitable Trust, The VNA Foundation of Greater North Penn, The Patricia Kind Foundation and other corporate and individual donations.
The Café is also open to the entire community and everyone is welcome. The community member price (persons under the age of 60) is $6.95. Other sandwich options are available at reasonable prices. Lunch is served from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.
Special luncheons are also offered at Encore Experiences throughout the year. These luncheons may be cultural or theme based and require early registration. During special luncheons, The Encore Café is not open to the public.

Q. I don't have a car, what type of transportation is available to and from Encore Experiences?
We partner with TransNET, the Suburban Transit Network of Montgomery County. Some of our participants utilize the Shared Ride Program. This is a reduced fare transportation program for residents of Montgomery County who are age 65 or older. Free transportation to and from Encore Experiences is possible for those who meet the age requirement and attend the Center between the hours of 10:00AM – 2:00PM. Q. Do you have volunteer opportunities available at Encore Experiences?
Encore Experience at Harleysville offers many fulfilling opportunities to individuals who want to give back to their community. We are grateful for, and could not function as efficiently as we do, without our tireless Encore Experiences' Volunteers. Please consider joining one of the following volunteer teams: Greeter, Wait Staff, Café Kitchen Assistants, Facilities Management, Financial Management Committee, Newsletter and Mailing Preparation, Members Council Volunteer, Program/Event Leaders, Marketing Committee. Q. Encore Experiences has a beautiful facility, is it available for rentals?
Encore Experiences is available to rent on a one-time or regular basis. Our facility can accommodate up to 425 people, depending on the event (200 with tables and chairs). Use of kitchen is permitted (extra charge applies). For more information, please call or stop in our office. Note: Rentals are only available to people known by our staff or Board. Area non-profit organizations, schools, and prior renters in good standing may also be eligible for rental.
